The State Examination Center is implementing various measures in accordance with its activities to comprehensively inform the public and organize educational work.
The Center has launched a new project for students, applicants, teachers and those interested in the course of the admission campaign in general. As previously reported, it is planned to organize open discussions for the public on topical issues once a month at the State Examination Center with the participation of the Center's management.
The first meeting was held on September 30. Registration for participation in the meeting was carried out electronically through the website of the State Examination Center.
The current discussion was dedicated to "Content of Entrance and Entrance Exams, Exam Programs and Rules". The meeting was attended by Maleyka Abbaszadeh, Chairperson of the Board of the State Examination Center, heads of relevant structural units, students, applicants and their parents, teachers, as well as representatives of the education and pedagogical community.
Speaking at the event, the Chairperson of the Board of the State Examination Center, M. Abbaszadeh, welcomed the participants and expressed his gratitude for their interest in the meeting held in an open format on his initiative. The Chairperson expressed his confidence that such meetings will play a special role in providing the public with complete, accurate and reliable information about the progress of the admission campaign, its individual directions and stages, as well as in studying and analyzing the opinions of other participants in the process.
The meeting was held in an interactive format and, based on the participants' questions, a wide exchange of views was held on the admission rules, the exam model, the topics included in the program, the tasks used in the exam and other issues.
After the meeting, students and applicants were given the opportunity to take advantage of the free tests to check their knowledge level based on the professional selection tests and textbooks prepared by the specialists of the State Examination Center. It should be noted that professional selection tests cover three main areas - types of thinking, personal characteristics and professional interests tests. These tests are used to determine the profession (professions) that are right for you. The tests for classes aim to check the level of knowledge based on textbook materials. At the beginning of the event, the participants also got acquainted with the journals and assessment books published by the State Examination Center.
Representatives of the educational and pedagogical community can send their suggestions on topics to be discussed at the meetings to be held in the coming months to press@dim.gov.az.
The next meeting is planned to be held in late October. Additional information on topics and registration dates will be provided.
