An international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Assessment Systems: Trust, Transparency and Innovation" will be held in Baku from April 9 to 11, 2026, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the State Examination Center. The main goal of the conference is to share achievements and experience in the field of educational assessment and civil service, as well as to hold discussions on current issues in relevant areas.
The conference is expected to be attended by more than 200 representatives from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Egypt, the Republic of South Africa and Kenya, as well as various international organizations.
As part of the conference, practical training sessions (Pre-Conference Workshops) will be held on April 9 in the electronic examination corpus of the State Examination Center.
The official opening ceremony of the conference will be held on April 10 at 10:00 at the “Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard” hotel. The conference will then continue its work on panel discussions with the participation of local and international experts. The panel discussions will be devoted to the topics of the strategic role of assessment in the modern education system, personnel policy and human capital development in the era of mass examinations and digitalization.
After the panel discussions, the sessions will begin and continue until 17:00. The sessions will cover topics such as assessment of written work, assessment systems in foreign countries, international assessment studies, language assessment, assessment of creativity and skills, selection of civil servants, competency-based assessment in civil service recruitment, electronic examination systems, etc.
A cultural tour will be organized for foreign guests on the last day of the event.
