On November 8-10, 2022, a round table on "Changing duties in the civil service - new realities, opportunities and challenges" was held under the joint organization of the Eastern Partnership Regional Fund for Public Administration Reforms and the GIZ (German International Cooperation Organization) Regional Fund in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Elnur Abbasov, the Head of “Legal support, work with civil service policy and state strategy” sub-unit of the State Examination Center, made a presentation on the topic "Civil service system in the Republic of Azerbaijan: problems and challenges". He also provided detailed information about the country's experience and the work done by the State Examination Centre in this field.
During the event, the distribution of administrative and supportive duties in civil service, conditions for holding positions, determination of training requirements in the civil service, organization of trainings and other issues were also discussed.
