The Product development team members of the SEC have attended “MoodleMoot Global Online 2020” conference, which happened from July 6-10, 2020, on the Moodle platform, a leading international IT company.
It should be noted that on the basis of the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), the SEC specialists have developed "ProctorDIM" platform for online exams, as well as exam platforms for “Yüksəliş” competition (Career growth).
One of the main purposes of participation in the event is to further improve these newly established platforms. The goals also include eliminating technical errors appeared through the use of technology in learning and assessment process, learning the e-assessment experience of other countries and organizations, utilizing cloud computing technologies and Moodle applications, as well as getting more information on the application of plug-in components in assessment.
More than 120 countries, 60 universities, 1,500 participants, researchers and relevant experts are involved in “MoodleMoot Global Online 2020” event organized by the Moodle Committee. One of the features of “MoodleMoot Global Online 2020” is the social aspect of the conference. Thus, the event provides an opportunity to exchange views and new opportunities for cooperation with Moodle users from different regions. The 5-day event covers topics in the following three different areas:
- education,
- technology,
- official MoodleMoots.
Despite the fact that the working language of the event is English, due to the cancellation of many regional MoodleMoot events affected by the pandemic, the speakers will be able to speak in different languages (Tuesday - French, Wednesday - German, etc.).
