Within the “An Eastern Partnership Academy for Public Administration” Program, on 27 September – 1 October, an online conference “Fight against Corruption” was held.
In accordance with the joint agreement between the State Examination Center and Ministry of Foreign Affairs on setting up of the delegation from Azerbaijan, the participation of 5 delegates representing the SEC, Ministry of Economy, State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and State Customs Committee from Azerbaijan was provided.
The workshop was aimed at increasing participants’ professional skills and provide the exchange of knowledge and mutual relations concerning the measures against corruption.
Head of the SEC’s Civil Service Department Vugar Asgarov made a presentation on “Good practice on the application of anti-corruption policy in Azerbaijan”.
The presentation covered the topics with regard to the establishment of DOST centers, anti-corruption measures, the outcomes obtained, as well as the measures by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection implemented in line with the requirements of international standard "ISO 37001: 2016 - Anti-corruption management system” on the application of anti-corruption mechanisms.
