“Holding the IAEA 2019 Conference in Baku is a welcoming step. More than 300 delegates representing 55 countries attend the conference. This plays a positive role in promoting Azerbaijan in the international arena”, said Ulkar Hasanova, participant of the 45th IAEA Annual Conference on “Assessment and Decision-making: individual and institutional solutions”.
“Hosting this conference in Azerbaijan is of considerable importance in terms of opportunities for our local experts to participate and share insights with their foreign colleagues”, added Hasanova.
“I made a presentation on the topic “An experimental study of the formation of the creative potential of a person”. Proposals for development of active creative approaches among students were put forward. The presentation was met with interest. We shared our insights and responded to questions. I hope that the conference will be beneficial in terms of acquainting with the international expertise on assessment and bringing Azerbaijan’s expertise to the attention of the world”, noted Ulkar Hasanova.
Note that, the International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) suggests a worldwide forum for all those who participate in all forms of educational assessment in primary or secondary schools, colleges or the workplaces. SEC (former State Students Admission Commission) also hosted the 33rd International Conference of IAEA in 2007 in Baku and Azerbaijan was the first CIS country to host IAEA conference at that time.
