Since its inception, the State Examination Center has closely been cooperating with the European Union. This collaboration is realized via the Delegation of the European Commission to the Republic of Azerbaijan, an institution of the European Union. The mandate of the Delegation includes the following:
- Promoting the political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union by building multilateral ties with the Azerbaijani governmental institutions and increasing awareness of the EU, its institutions, and programs;
- Monitoring the implementation of the EU-Azerbaijan Partnership and Cooperation Agreement;
- Informing the public about the progress of the EU, explaining and defending the individual EU policies;
- Participating in the European Union aid programs.
