ETS – Educational Testing Service
The Educational Testing Service (ETS) is the world's largest private, non-profit educational organization in the field of examination and assessment. ETS mainly develops the standardized tests for K-12 and higher education in the United States, as well as manages the international exams such as TOEFL iBT, TOEIC, GRE, HiSET, and Praxis in more than 180 countries.
In addition to assessments, ETS conducts educational experiments, analysis, and policy research, and develops a variety of personalized services and products for teacher certification, English language learning, and for education after the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education.
SEC and ETS have been collaborating for nearly 7 years in the direction of administering examinations (including the TOEFL iBT, SAT, and GRE exams).
SEC, together with ETS Global, regularly organizes the TOEFL iBT and GRE® General Test exams. Additionally, webinars, information sessions, and practical trainings on the TOEFL iBT and GRE® General Test exams are held for English language teachers, people desiring to learn English, and those who want to assess their language skills.
It should be noted that the quality of exams conducted by the former State Student Admission Commission was audited by ETS in August 2006, and the organization's activities were positively evaluated.
