From April 9 to 11, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Assessment Systems: Trust, Transparency and Innovation” will be held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the State Examination Centre (SEC).
As part of the conference, on April 9, Pre-Conference Workshops are being held on various topics to develop practical skills in the field of assessment in education in the electronic examination building of the SEC. Through the workshops, participants will get acquainted with new methods and approaches, as well as gain experience on real examples.
The workshops are dedicated to the topics of “Competency-based assessment methods: simulation games and interviews with the STAR method”, “From theory to practice: Preparation of assessment tasks based on listening and reading texts in foreign languages”, “Improving the quality of education: monitoring of textbooks”, “Criteria-based assessment of written work in the Automated Writing Checking System (in Azerbaijani, English and mathematics)” and “Digitalization of assessment processes in the example of emotional intelligence”. The workshops are held by associates of the SEC. More than 100 specialists who have registered in advance are participating in the workshops.
