On the first day of the conference, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Center, Maleyka Abbaszade, was the main speaker with a presentation entitled "Elimination of inconsistencies in the education system - retrospective and prospective view".
M.Abbaszade first touched on important points such as the introduction of test exams during admission to higher education institutions shortly after we regained our independence, the difficulties that arise, the organization of scientific-methodical seminars on subjects, the formation of the test bank and the content of the exam, and the application of ICT technologies to mass processes. At the same time, in 2008-2009, for the first time, she gave information about the implementation of the national curriculum in schools, the holding of monitoring exams and, as a result, the use of new types of tasks in the final exams starting from 2017. "For 30 years, we have been able to create a feeling among people to rely only on their own knowledge and skills for admission to higher education institutions. Today, every goal-oriented young man is confident that he can achieve success regardless of his social status," the chairperson emphasized.
