On October 22-24, 2024, Rahman Mehraliyev, head of the Item bank unit of the State Examination Center (SEC), and Tural Dunyamaliyev, Head of Technological support of e-exams, testing and interviews, participated in the "MoodleMoot Global 2024" conference organized by the "Moodle" company in Merida, Mexico.
The main goal of the conference is to share the latest innovations and experiences in online education and e-learning technologies. It creates opportunities for exchange of ideas and new collaborations between Moodle users from different countries. Moodle is a worldwide open learning platform that creates an online environment for education, enabling new programs, online courses and training activities for collaborative learning.
On the first day of the conference, employees of the SEC presented a presentation entitled "Using the Moodle program for admission to civil service and educational institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan" (https://moodlemoot.org/2024/timetable/event/243/). In the presentation, it was mentioned that "Moodle" exam possibilities are intensively used in the computer-based exams conducted by the Center. Information was also given about the Center's activities, technical capabilities, preparation of various types of software for ensuring exam security, and various software products integrated into "Moodle".
